Most of my experience has been spent at early stage startups where I was the only designer and wore lots of hats, even outside of design.
If you go back far enough, my path in art and design started with a pirated acquired copy of Photoshop CS2 a long time ago. Go back even further and you could point to Kid Pix.
Now, I like doing user research and responding with great prototypes that solve their problems.
